Starting in November 2025, the VIPE Academy project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, will run for two years with the goal of supporting educators of healthcare students in developing the skills and resources needed to facilitate virtual interprofessional education (IPE). The project seeks to strengthen collaboration across professional and geographical boundaries by creating accessible and inclusive learning environments. VIPE Academy will develop a resource toolkit and deliver four virtual IPE sessions involving students and educators from across Europe and beyond. Using case studies and scenario-based learning, the project will promote and enhance educators’ capacity to design and deliver effective virtual IPE. The outcomes will include a toolkit, facilitator training programme, and create network of educators prepared to deliver high-quality, inclusive online interprofessional learning opportunities.
